Matrix New World Engineering, Inc. (Matrix) has provided engineering, surveying and environmental services to the private and public sectors for more than 25 years. The Firm is engaged in some of the country’s most urgent work, responding to manmade and natural disasters, including- the BP oil spill response in the Gulf, Superstorm Sandy Response and NJ Waterways Contract, Post Hurricane Infrastructure Hardening and Resiliency Studies for public agencies and the private sector, and critical infrastructure improvement projects, such as the Second Avenue Subway and Est Side Access Project in New York City.

Matrix’s Landscape Architecture Division provides full-service landscape architectural design services including parks planning and renovation, streetscape design, green infrastructure and LEED design, ecological restoration, creative grading design, wetland restoration, and graphic renderings. Their projects combine scientific principles of engineering, design skills of architecture, knowledge of urban planning, and practical relationships with the land.
